Tickets to this year’s Super Bowl are expected to exceed previous records, as the average fan spends US$8,600 ($13,200) to watch the game live from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Fans of pop star Taylor Swift are also expected to boost audience viewing numbers —115 million last year — as they watch to spot her cheering on boyfriend and Chiefs player Travis Kelce.

The Super Bowl will kick off at 3:30 pm in Las Vegas (local time).

  • 10am for South Australian audiences
  • 9:30am in Queensland
  • 9am in the Northern Territory
  • 7:30am for Western Australia

Where can I watch the Super Bowl?

The Seven Network will broadcast the game live to Australian audiences on free-to-air TV.

For those wanting to watch it remotely, it will also be available on Seven’s streaming platform 7plus as well as KAYO and Foxtel.

Who is performing the Super Bowl halftime show and when?

R&B legend Usher will headline the Super Bowl halftime show, joining big-name past performers such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, U2 and Eminem.

The eight-time Grammy award-winner previously appeared as a surprise guest in 2011, alongside the Black Eyed Peas.
