Amazon Australia plans to onboard 1,400 seasonal workers at its fulfilment centres (FC) and Amazon Logistics sites across the country to support the mid-year sales season, including its Prime Day shopping event in July.
To meet the expected customer demand during this time, Amazon Australia is seeking seasonal workers to help pick, pack and ship orders to customers around the country. They will play a role in helping to provide free and fast delivery on eligible items that Prime members enjoy. There are also earning opportunities for delivering packages with Amazon Flex.

“Now, we have 1,400 roles to fill with motivated and enthusiastic people looking for a short-term role. We provide on-the-job training so no previous experience or formal qualifications are required, and Prime Day always promises to be an exciting time of year.”
Prime Day is Amazon’s annual shopping event offering discounts exclusively for Prime members on a range of products from everyday essentials to electronics, appliances, books, clothing, toys, homewares and more.
Amazon Australia director of Prime, Arno Lenior added, “As Australians continue to grapple with rising living costs and seek ways to stretch their budgets, we are working hard to secure huge savings for members this Prime Day.
“Members will be able to take advantage of discounts from popular brands and small and medium Australian businesses, and enjoy the convenience of fast, free delivery on eligible items through Prime.”
