Australia Boomers FIBA Asia Cup schedule: Dates, times, rosters & how to watch 2025 qualification games | Sporting News Australia

New faces will headline Australia’s roster at the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers, which begins on Thursday, Feb. 22.

The Boomers — who have captured back-to-back titles — tout a 12-man roster with six debutants on the senior circuit. That includes 7-foot-3 17-year-old sensation Rocco Zikarsky, who made his professional debut with the Brisbane Bullets this past season.

But Australia boasts its familiar pedigree of experience, too. Captain Nick Kay earned a Bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics, while Mitch McCarron, Isaac Humphries and Dejan Vasiljevic have become household names for the Boomer faithful.

Does the roster have what it takes to win a third consecutive FIBA Asia Cup? The journey begins on Thursday with a qualifying match against South Korea.

The Sporting News has you covered with all the details of Team Australia’s schedule at the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers.
