There are five meetings across the UK and Ireland on Tuesday, two of which – the jump cards at Ffos Las (12.20-3.22pm) and Fontwell (12.40-3.40) – are subject to morning inspections.
Punchestown (12.00-3.30) and Wincanton (12.45-3.45) are the other National Hunt fixtures, with the all-weather Flat card at Southwell (5.00-8.30) completing the line-up
All three of our selections come from the final meeting and among our fancies is a course specialist who looks set to enjoy an uncontested lead – but can she hold on to it?

A lot of races on the course’s new Tapeta track have been won from the front and it might be worth backing JEANS MAITE to profit from the same tactic in this 6f contest.
The seven-year-old mare hasn’t scored for a year but there are a few things in her favour, including Lewis Edmunds returning in the saddle, having partnered her in five of her seven career wins.
She ran creditably when last seen over 5f at Wolverhampton in mid-November, beaten 3¼ lengths after being notably weak in the market. Having looked a bit fresh that day returning from more than four months off, there’s every chance she will come on for that outing here.
She goes well at this venue, where her form figures since the surface switch a few years ago read 25111440. She’s down to her lowest mark in nearly two years and, while her wide draw (11) isn’t ideal, there’s very little pace in this race, so she may have very few issues getting to the lead.
The step back up in trip is probably the main question mark but she shaped as though another tilt at the distance was worth a go when staying on well at Doncaster on her penultimate start. She’s an attractive each-way sort of price given her credentials and she looks up to outrunning those odds.

This Class 3 sprint over the minimum trip features a host of familiar names. It looks more competitive than last year’s renewal but one that looks capable of going well is JENEVER.
With plenty of pace in the race, it’s probably worth siding with a hold-up performer who will be doing their best work at the finish and Jessica Macey’s four-year-old fits the bill.
He has been in fine form, winning on Tapeta at Newcastle before a narrow defeat at Wolverhampton last time when he was probably a shade unlucky not to win.
The handicapper may have been lenient in leaving him on the same mark for that effort and his high draw will be an advantage over a course and distance where they often come down the stands’ side.
With a progressive profile, he makes plenty of each-way appeal in an admittedly open race.

There are some nice prospects in this one-mile fillies’ handicap, arguably none more so than ROARIN’ SUCCESS for Harry and Roger Charlton.
The filly signed off her two-year-old campaign with a win over 7f on the Tapeta at Wolverhampton and made a winning return over today’s trip at Ascot in July.
Having run too badly to be true at Glorious Goodwood, she got back on track with a narrow defeat over 7f at Kempton last month when she was a little unlucky to meet trouble in running.
With more to come and the step back up in trip sure to suit, she could be hard to beat from a handicap mark of 81.
